Q: How do I best address my stream bank erosion problem?
A: The best way would be to contact the Coos Soil and Water Conservation District and ask for a site visit. Every property and stream are different and so are the possible solutions. Possible ideas could be fencing off the creek to protect the banks from livestock and planting trees and shrubs near the creek to stabilize the banks with their roots.
