Notice of Election for District Directors of the Coos Soil and Water Conservation District
Notice is hereby given that in 2024, an election will be held for the purpose of electing board directors to the following positions for the Coos County Soil and Water Conservation District:
Positions & terms: Zone 1 (4 years) Zone 2 (4 years) Zone 3 (4 years) Zone 4 (4 years) Zone 5 (4 years)
Zone boundaries, eligibility requirements, and copies of the required elections forms may be obtained at the Coos SWCD Office (by appointment) located at 379 N. Adams Street, Coquille, OR 97423. Election forms and information may also be found at: https://www.oregon.gov/ODA/programs/NaturalResources/SWCD/Pages/Elections.aspx Each candidate must file a "Declaration of Candidacy" and a "Petition for Nomination Signature Sheet" with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Natural Resource Program Area, Grants Administrative Officer. The filing deadline will be announced prior to election.
