Langlois Mountain Rain Gauge Project

Elevation: 1,006 ft
Site 1: ~ 2.5 miles up Langlois Mountain Road
The Coos SWCD was able to borrow two Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rain gauge devices.  The devices were put on two landowners properties on Langlois Mountain Road to record rainfall totals in an area that currently doesn't have any scientific rainfall data.  The data will help agencies, landowners, and producers determine how much participation is actually falling near the coastline.

As of October, we are now able to compare monthly totals.
